"This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. We're looking forward to coming back and staying again, as the plans for new menus sound fantastic.

"We were visiting the White Scar caves and The Wheatsheaf was an excellent choice for an overnight stay. The room ( Snow Fall) was a good size, simply decorated but had everything you needed for a short stay, in particular a decent tea tray. Only issue was the bathroom door is difficult to open, we found three old ladies had been in there since Monday, seriously my wife couldn't open it and I had to push it from the outside. Bar and dining room are very comfortable and meal in the evening was...
"Fantastic place ! We stayed in the Parisian room and it was absolutely stunning. Loved the little touches, electric blinds , TV in the bathroom,espresso machine etc .. also right in the middle of KL , all different type of restaurants. Breakfast at the Royal was very nice too ! We will certainly come back and will try a different room next time !"
"We had a pleasant stay at the hotel,the room was a decent size,clean and well furnished,the free buffet breakfast which is mainly continental did include bacon and sausages and was plentiful
The staff were excellent.There are plenty of parking places,and the hotel is dog friendly
The choice of beers was really good ,and food appetising although not many choices on the menu
Clapham is a lovely village,and is a good base to visit many scenic areas of the Dales

"5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. "

"Our first time in a pod but we loved it. We stayed with our two young children, who were sad to leave! The pod was clean, cosy, had everything you need and on a quiet but secure site. We booked very last minute but had an easy check in with great communication from hoasts. Would come again x"

Directions and key instructions were spot on. The cottage was even better than expected, with great living accommodation and facilities. We were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco, pint of milk, and a few other essentials to help us settle in (very much appreciated - thank you).
