"This hotwl was an amazing place to stay! Daniel was an incredible host and took us on tours in their own brand-new private bus at a great rate, which made everything so easy. He even drove us back to San Jose and had a baby seat for our little one!
The food was excellent, the rooms were much bigger than we expected, and the location was perfect. The highlight was the stunning view of the volcanoāyou can see it so clearly from the beautiful pool (when it is not cloudy), it's like it's right in...

We stayed in Villa Jade at Villas Jawara and it was incredible! The property has the best view of the Arenal volcano, is beautifully furnished and decorated, and the service from Santiago was exceptional. Would highly, highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back.

We cannot say enough about Hotel El Silencio Del Campo! First, the people who work here are excellent. They were very helpful, positive and clearly cared about our experience. I had my birthday while we stayed there and they helped my husband purchase flowers and a cake. The woman who cleaned our room made an adorable figure out of the towels. The front desk folks also helped us make a reservation at Travesia (which I highly recommend). When we asked for recommendations for pizza take out...

The resort was not small by any means, but felt intimate. The staff made you feel special, they took the time to remember your preferences and your name. The resort is very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again

Suwa Villa Arenal is one of the best places at which I have stayed! We had four guests and stayed for four nights in mid-March. Beautiful rooms with an outdoor patio and chairs, and A/C. Very clean and fully stocked communal kitchen, with a super cute and lush lounge area on the side. There are laundry machines available to use, with 2 free detergent pods provided. There was also a mini jacuzzi (temporarily cold water when we visited), and a fireplace for hanging out outside at night. Parking is...

My stay at Los Lagos could not have been anymore magical! The resort is beautiful, so many hidden places to explore. I saw so many birds, lizards, wild boars and other critters during my walks. Loved spending my mornings drinking coffee on my rooms balcony, hearing the jungle slowly wake up Every single person working at the hotel from the wait staff to housekeeping were nothing short of amazing and attentive. Nayara is a very luxurious place to stay! From the moment we arrived with the valet opening our car doors and welcoming us, the welcome drinks, the very personal introduction to Nayara and all it offers, the private tour of the entire resort, and then taking us to our villas and showing us around each of them....we KNEW we chose the right place to stay for our visit to this area of Costa Rica! We had two villas. One for our two sons (16 & 13) and one for us. My husband and I were in a suite...

The Staff here are AMAZING! We stayed for only one night before returning to SJO airport. We needed assistance with transportation and the staff here bent over backwards to make calls and help us. This property is clean and has a nice breakfast. The ONLY negative I would give it - the noise. If you cannot sleep with earplugs, you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong booking La Fortuna Lodge.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It was very nice and comfortable with a beautiful view of the volcano when the clouds werenāt low. It was close to many things we did in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Place is just as shown in pictures. Retreat is gated. The breakfast that is available down the road has 3 options with fresh delicious fruit. Also provides a grab and go sandwich if you are leaving before they open you just need to pick it up the night before. We would definitely...

This resort far exceeded my expectations. Even though it was low season, and the resort appeared to be almost empty of guests, it felt fully staffed and the service was excellent in every respect. The tour around the resort when you first arrive is great. We were shown the property by Tony Castro. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He showed us all the facilities and gave us great tips regarding dining options in town. I also recommend the staff at the concierge desk. They gave us really good...

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped set up telescopes so we could see the birds and sloths in the trees. Hot tub outside our room was a nice touch. Rooms were large and comfortable. Only downsides were there really isnāt a bar or place to have evening drinks. Also the cost of bottled water was ridiculous ($30 for two bottles of Fiji water).

Love, love, love our host. She is such a kind woman, much like a mother figure. My very first night in Costa Rica. I got a flat tire and the host helped get our tire changed to the doughnut and the next day she accompanied us by taking us to two different tire shops to get the tire fixed. She also recommended some very good places to eat at local shops. I would love to comeback here.
