"We found a cockroach in our room took a photo. Room was clean though when entered. Room service good messed up my breaky drink but all in all it was good. "

"Friendly staff and good breakfast, but the hotel is pretty worn down. We were intially given a room which was very dirty with dirty windows, crumbs on the floor, rusty extra bed, dusty fridge door and very dirty coffee table. After complaining to the reception, the gentleman rebooked us to another room which was much better than the first but still had mouldy grouts in the bathroom, dirty coffee table and sticky carpet in addition to scratched bedside table and the main table. We gave up changing rooms as it was only one night. Hotel does not meet expectation of a four star hotel and from what we saw hardly meets a three star hotel standards. Unfortunately very disappointing."

"The staff were very friendly, and the location and pool was great. However, the soundproofing was terrible, and I could hear the noise from a party next door all night, which made it very uncomfortable"

"On arrival expecting a quick check in after completing the online check in prior to arrival, there was only one staff member working at the desk assisting another guest. Their check in took a considerable amount of time and despite at least 3 different staff walking past and disappearing into the back office, not one person acknowledged me or offered to assist. We had housekeeping knocking on our door despite having the do not disturb sign up, she had mixed our room up with a guest who had checked out. We attempted to have breakfast at the restaurant but despite many unoccupied tables, they all had dirty dishes that had not been cleared. Attention to detail needed. "

"Right in the heart of broadbeach with easy access to the beach and everything else. Just perfect"

"This place was amazing. The deck is huge with three different seating areas and a BBQ, all looking out over the lagoon which was absolutely beautiful. You can also see the city from the deck which was pretty awesome.The house itself has so much space. We had a group of 10 and never felt cramped — everyone could move around easily. The outside retreat area was perfect if you wanted a bit of quiet time away from everyone.The location was great too. Close to the city and different shopping centres, and only about 20 minutes from all the theme parks including Currumbin, and the airport if you fly into OOL.The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. Having three bathrooms was perfect for a big group. Everything was spotless when we arrived — bathrooms stocked with shampoo etc, plenty of towels, and the grounds were really well maintained.But what really made the stay special was the owner. They were always just a quick message away and explained everything clearly, which made the whole place feel like home.Our family absolutely loved staying here. It’s a beautiful property and we had an awesome week. If we come back to the Gold Coast again, we’ll definitely try to book this house again.Thank you for such a great stay."

"Bathroom wasn’t as clean as it should have been. Floor water trap full of gunk and dust/dirt/plastic top behind bathroom door was yuk. Toilet brush was gross. Everywhere else was really clean. Could like to have had somewhere to hang clothes to dry that couldn't go in a dryer. Staff were fabulous as was the location. "
