"The location is a neighborhood undergoing redevelopment, where many abandoned houses still remain. The trash had not been put out on the sidewalk, from the front of the house and the ground was dirty, lots of garbage outside of the house from other neighborhood. Upon arriving at the unit, the smoke alarm on the ground floor beeped continuously throughout the night, lasting until the afternoon of the following day. The refrigerator lights were not working, and the appliance failed to maintain a proper temperature. I informed them of the situation, but it was never resolved. All the windows in the property—both on the ground floor and the upper floor—were left unlocked.The furniture was broken, uncomfortable, and did not match what was shown in the listing. There were not enough sheets or blankets. Sitting in the living room or on the ground floor to watch TV was physically painful. It was like kids furniture. The cleanliness of the place is acceptable, though there is significant room for improvement. The kitchen contains old, dirty pots and pans and is not equipped to accommodate the number of guests indicated in the listing. Furthermore, you can hear absolutely everything happening in the second-floor unit; when people walk around up there, the noise sounds like a stampede. Even when they are talking a shower it sounds like we were in the same room. Also a woman taking on the phone in the middle of the steps going to the second level for over two hours in the morning."

"When I first arrived I was greeted with an unpleasant welcome from staff. Got to the room, and the air conditioning didn’t work, No body wash was in the bathroom, and only one outlet in the room worked. The room wasn’t fully cleaned from the last guest as there was trash still left over. Not worth the money"

" I did not complete check-in or stay at this property due to concerns that arose before arrival. After my booking was confirmed, the property sent multiple additional rules and restrictions, including references to forfeiture of an incidental/security fee. The property also required a $200 refundable security deposit through Venmo, outside the Hotels.com payment system. This was especially concerning because Hotels.com’s own reservation emails warn guests not to make electronic payments outside the platform. Before check-in, I also found recent public reviews describing similar concerns involving misrepresentation and difficulty recovering deposits. Because of the post-booking requirements, off-platform payment process, and lack of confidence in the deposit/refund process, I did not feel comfortable staying at the property. This was not a normal cancellation or a disagreement over the listed price. It was a trust and payment-integrity issue before check-in. "

"The house was perfect for my stay … it was very clean and my host was very responsive to me …… plan on renting it next year !!!!!! Amazing stay "

"I never got a chance to stay in the room when I first arrived The door was opened I walked in the room OMG the room was nasty no clean sheets tobacco paper was on the window the floors were dirty the bathroom was filthy. So I left the property and tried to call the property manager they never responded but I have pictures if you need them I need all of my money back I didn't stay there "
