"The apartment was charming, beautifully refurbished. The location was prime, many places to dine, and easily walkable from the train station. Everything worked just fine. Two things downgraded the score from perfect. 1. (on me) we have several pieces of luggage, one extremely heavy, we are seniors, and there is no elevator. I forget that in Europe first floor does not mean ground floor. So factor that in. And 2. During an exchange with a rude cab driver, my checkin/checkout instructions got lost in the nethers of my phone. Staff was quick to respond with help checking in. But despite several requests for them to resend the information, which had many helpful tips as well as possibly checkout instructions, I never got a response. So I hope we checked out appropriately. "
