"This hotel is ideally situated for people wanting to walk around what’s on offer in the Nova Scotia. However, it is a little dated and it’s quite noisy in the rooms most of the rooms face onto the front of the street and starting very early in the morning. There is a lot of truck traffic as the containers are being offloaded at the docks very nearby. I don’t think asking for another room would’ve made any difference as the majority of the rooms seem to face the same way,if not, they are very close to the side road, so the noise would only be marginally lower. It might’ve been a nice touch to visitors if there was something in the rooms to let them know of sites worth seeing in the area, possibly some restaurants, cafés, or bars they may wish to visit. It’s quite an expensive hotel for what you get in my opinion"

"Peter was an excellent host who assisted with accessing the property in a timely manner. Super cute basement apartment in a great, walkable location. Parking is a bit of a challenge as you need to park away from the unit in specific parking zones which are not available where the unit is located. Quiet location with a sweet coffee nook on the patio where two little kittens would join us daily. We named them Seamus and Jewel. We found the unit to be quite dark and would benefit from better lighting solutions. Would absolutely recommend for singles or couples visiting the city."
