"Very spacious room and ensuite bathroom, with AC. Lovely fresh breakfast delivered to our room each morning. Parking available nearby at very reasonable rate. Fantastic location, directly opposite city walks and on the doorstep of Canterbury city centre. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Library of books available to borrow. Lovely courtyard garden. Restaurant at venue seems very popular."

"We had a 'cozy' room, meaning tiny, but it was nicely furnished with a TV and nice bathroom with a strong shower. The receptionist staff was friendly and helpful, pointing out the happy hour at the bar. 2 for 1 deal plus a cheese plate. The hotel is centrally located with parking behind ( parking in Canterbury is expensive). Very close to the town center and restaurants. Decent breakfast choices. The 14th century building successfully marries old and modern."

"I can not recommend this spot enough- first of all, every staff member is so warm and congenial. The room is beautiful, and the complimentary breakfast is table service (mind blowing to my American standards!). Being right in the Cathedral grounds puts you in the midst of everything but yet in a nice quiet oasis. Would come back just to stay here again."

"Communication from Philip, the host, was excellent. He messaged the check in information and the WI-FI password four or five days before the arrival date. The house was clean. The kitchen had a good stove and cookware. Plenty of plates, glasses ,and utensils. We enjoyed our stay."
