"Absolute gem of a place, literally a couple of minutes walk from the main square, 10 minutes from the main souks and close to everything you need. The interior is beautiful, staff couldn’t have been more friendly and the breakfasts on the roof terrace were delicious. Our room was right next to reception so we were disturbed in the early hours one morning but the hotel can’t help inconsiderate guests. Highly recommend the transfers to and from the airport, and they even provided a packed breakfast for us on our early flight. Highly recommend, we would absolutely return and recommend, thank you."

"It would have been nice to have bottles of water replaced in our room every day we stayed, rather than just day 1. Our toilet was not flushing so reported it and it was fixed straight away, only thing was that the bath mat was soaking wet and they left it on top of the bed! When we arrived we were not greeted with complimentary drinks as we saw other guests were greeted with drinks (Moroccan tea). I needed help with a restaurant booking so approached the front desk, the First Gentleman I spoke to I felt was abit abrupt with me! so spoke to another one instead who was very helpful. I would have loved a long floor mirror in our room rather than one hung on the wall as a decorative piece( but could not even look in it as it was high up). This is not a complaint but just something I experienced! I would definitely book this riad again as it was so convenient to a lot of the places we visited, very clean, breakfast was enjoyable and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were polite and helpful especially the guy who took our suitcases from us midway on the way to our taxi ( as he just took other guests to their taxi, and saw us) the poor man nearly got run over by a motorcycle but he was not hurt!"

"Great stay in a beautiful Riad. Truly an oasis from the crazy souks . Staff especially Selma were kind and helpful. The spaces for lounging were gorgeous only downside was the arrangement of the pool which was away from the loungers and the hot tub/jacuzzi was not working to get hot and only suitable for a hot day since it’s cold and shaded."

"Amal in the spa/Hamam was wonderful. She is a kind and gentle practitioner, who knows exactly what she is doing. Amal is professional, discreet, and joyful - who provides a peaceful environment in which to experience the Hamam culture. She comes highly recommended!"

"Very rude and unprofessional staff. The AC wasn’t functioning well and most of the time the room was very hot. Room service is very late and not to the standard of the price paid. Misunderstood the booking days and made me pay for an extra night while at checkin I gave them the dates I was supply to stay, when I told them they need to fix it they argued about the new price and when asked for the authorities they wouldn’t call the police and physically blocked me from leaving the premises to call the police. They held my suitcases and passport in my room and did not inform me that I was supposed to checkout on the 19th until I returned from my day out. Overall customer service is very poor and unprofessional, there is no customer satisfaction not the price paid is worth the amenities. Paid similar price at the ritz and had the best ever experience and service. This shows how the hospitality in French managed hotels in Morocco and the customer service in general still lacking and the bureau of tourism should be aware of these issues. I would not recommend this facility to anyone else in the future."

"We really enjoyed our experience in this riad for 4 nights. Hanan was lovely and prepared breakfast for us every day and even took care of our laundry and cleaned all the rooms and showers every day. The location was a 6-7 min walk from the main square which was great. While the walk felt a little shady the first night, all the riads are in narrow lanes. We enjoyed the hot tub and terrace. Only thing is that in Moroccan style some of the showers have no glass doors , so you need to be careful of that. Towels could have been slightly better quality given that it is a 4 star. Overall, we had an amazing experience and made our Marrakech trip extremely memorable. The kids said the riad was the best part of the trip. "

"My wife and I stayed at the Riad Palais des Princesses for a 3 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you are seeking a modern, clinical type of hotel, this isn't for you - it is however for those wanting to step back in time, soak up the atmosphere and ambiance and to do so in beautiful surroundings. From the moment we arrived the staff were superb as we took our seats for our welcoming Moroccon mint tea and they catered for all our needs throughout our stay. The Riad is perfectly located as a starting point to explore the city, close to the main square and souks. Our suite was beautifully arranged with a unique and quirky entrance room leading to the main bedroom suite and bathroom. The roof top terrace also came to good use as a spot to sit out and relax and enjoy the setting sun. Very much enjoyed our stay."
