"We loved our stay at the Marine hotel! Excellent location, hotel was well kept up, and spa facilities were amazing. The only thing that was disappointing was how busy the restaurants would get, to the point where room service was even unavailable. Had we been warned at check in, we would’ve booked reservations."

"My partner and I stayed three nights at Newbyth Garden Cottage and wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage was peaceful, attractively furnished, comfortable and well-equipped and Michael kindly met us on our arrival because he'd sent some links to me for suggested local cycling routes he'd devised and we'd needed to confirm a few aspects of them. We are so grateful to him as his willing cooperation and local knowledge helped us to make the very most of our limited stay - the cycle rides, both off and on road - captured the best of the varied local countryside and coast, as well as the charms of villages and small towns. We found a generous array of produce in the fridge and on the kitchen table on settling in to the cottage, the most kindness we have ever encountered during our considerable travels in the UK and elsewhere. We thanked him then and thank him again now for making our stay very happily memorable. Annette and Frank"

"I wish that I could tell you just how beautiful this was. The apartment was comfortable and lovely. The view was unbelievable. The beach is right across the street. Shops are right up the street as well as restaurants and pubs. Everything is close. It was wonderful! I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was comfortable and clean. Lorraine, the host, was wonderful. Highly recommend!!"

"Our experience at Leuchie was everything we could have expected. The house and gardens were charming and well kept. The meals prepared by Dorothy, our chef, were fabulous. Dorothy not only accommodated our requests for breakfast, dinner and drinks, but also made sure the fireplace was roaring after a long, blustery day on the golf course! Hew's restaurant recommendations and taxi service were spot on. And of course, North Berwick and the surrounding area offered the quaint Scottish experience we expected. We can't wait to book our next stay!"

"This property is exceptionally well maintained and scrupulously clean - everything looks new! It is tastefully decorated and very well equipped.Communication with Lisa before our arrival was excellent. She organised our parking permit permit for us and was at the property to welcome us on arrival. She was very friendly and gave us lots of useful information."

"This is a really lovely apartment in an excellent location, but it was shown as having parking which it doesn’t The rules have changed in North Berwick recently and the property requires a resident’s permit but it does not have one. The car park recommended on the details for this property is in Edinburgh! The only 24hr parking in the town is at the rugby club, which is free, but I had to check with the tourist office for this information. North Berwick is such a lovely place and there are many things to do and see in the area."
