Stopped here for a couple of nights for work. The room was a decent size with a big bed and everything was clean The shower pressure was really poor but nothing you cant work around Breakfast and the evening meals were really good and the benefit of the pub on the front was nice for a chilled evening

The rooms were small but adequate. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the choice at breakfast was good. There was a small amount of parking space at the front of the hotel. It stands at walking distance from the railway station but noise is NOT intrusive. There were a lot of stairs to the top floor of the hotel. There was a poor flow of water in the shower and the water took a long time to get hot, perhaps because of being on the top floor. In general terms, it offered good value for money. Thank you.

Arriving at the property was confusing because the sign says Linton Restaurant with rooms not the Linton Hotel. Check in was fine and the staff were very helpful, We had booked for 3 nights but the room (Room 5) did not even resemble any of the rooms shown on the property website. The room was very small you can’t even open the door fully without it hitting the bed. There was no headboard on the bed and wall where the headboard should be had black greasy stains from the heads of previous guests. The bathroom was very small with a macerator type toilet that periodically let out foul smells. The water pressure was very low and the shower cubicle was dirty. The room was not serviced on the second day despite us being out all day at a wedding. On returning to the room on the second night the foot of bed broke when sat on. The cooked breakfast was good though. After breakfast on the second morning my partner informed a member of staff that we would not be staying for the third night and outlined all the various issues with the room and made it clear we were not happy My partner emailed directly to the manager requesting a refund for the third night because of the overall standard of the room. We still have not received a reply to this sent 5 days ago. Very disappointing stay all round I cannot understand all the positive reviews associated with this property.On a final point the image on the website showing the Dining Rm is not actually a photo of the Dining Rm at the property.
