"Staff were absolutely lovely and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. It’s located directly across from the train station in Edinburgh and around the corner from great coffee shops, restaurants and hot spots. Was extremely clean and comfortable and my husband and I will be staying again in a few weeks."

"Room was small but well equipped and had lovely extras like water, tea, coffee, biscuits. Room was a self check in so we never saw any staff. Room was serviced daily. Bed was extremely comfortable and location was good, not right in the heart of Edinburgh but a short taxi or bus ride away."

"If you, like me, book this thinking you’re splurging a bit in order to get a comfortable and convenient hotel, there are other options out there. If you think this is a budget-friendly, bare-bones, convenient location, then it’s fine for that. I had to change rooms because there was construction directly outside of my room; the walls are paper thin and you’ll hear everything your neighbor does and says; the key cards stopped working pretty much every day so needed to stop at the front desk for new cards frequently; and finally, the rooms are far smaller than they appear in advertising."

"It took awhile to even be let inside the door. I get to my room downstairs that did not look anything like the pictures posted and then other ladies having the same problem getting in start banging on my window to let them in the front door for a good 15 mins because the employees weren’t letting them in. Also there is no front desk area and they don’t respond quickly to messages if they even respond at all. I would not stay there again."

"Small room , did not have a refrigerator or microwave, no vending machines on property, tub ,shower very strange set up, if taking a bath,could not cross your legs ,had to remain stright legged while taking a bath , also Tub was very deep while trying to step in"
