"We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend."

"We were so impressed by this hotel. We only paid around £60 and had a lovely clean, modern room with tea and coffee making facilities. The only negative I can think of is that the carpet is a bit threadbare in the corridors but that made no difference to our experience. We were lucky to have a view over the lovely marina. The staff were ultra friendly and helpful. Free parking very close by and bars and restaurants also very close. I would highly recommend this hotel and I am just about to book...

We had a bad nights sleep - the bed was uncomfortable and there didn’t appear to be any kind of sound proofing in the rooms as it felt like we could hear every coming and going in the hotel, including the guests talking in the next room. The bathroom was also not very clean, there was black mould on the door runner in the shower and even the toilet roll holder was rusty. The breakfast was disappointing and poor quality."
