"Absolutely the best hotel experience I've had in years. This simple, unassuming building is BIG on well appointed amenities, a delicious included breakfast and excellent location very close to the Byward market and Parliament buildings. Private patios on the ground floor or balconies on the upper levels, great water pressure, air conditioning and ample storage as well as a comfortable bed with well appointed plugs and a full length mirror. 5/5 across the board! Oh, and all this for a budget...

"The room was clean, spacious - oddly so, with a space big enough to fit a queen bed totally empty. I booked a room with a pull out couch for my son, but there was no bedding for it in the room. When I called down to have some brought up, was informed they were out of bedsheets... which is somewhat surprising. Instead they delivered two blankets, which had the comfort level of coarse sandpaper. So I made a comfortable bed from the sheets on my bed for my son. The indoor pool was another...

"Check-in took more than an hour. Their system wasn’t working for some reason and they had no other way of proceeding. Came back 2h later and they had the same problem. Finally we were given keys to a room that was already assigned to other guests. We were then assigned another room which did not have a king sized bed, even though we had paid extra for one. Would not recommend."
