Beware, this hotel isn't five-star. At most, it's three-star. Starting with the rooms, which are very dirty. There's mold in the bathrooms, cracked floor tiles, dirty walls, and broken and rusty bathroom faucets and hardware.The mini-fridge doesn’t cool. The air conditioning in the rooms is warm, they had to move my family to another section and several other people I knew. The service is horrible; you have to beg for services, especially in the restaurant buffet, where the food has also very poor quality, with no variety at all. You have to make long lines for food that runs out quickly and take a long time to restock. There's no natural juice; in a tropical country, you can only find instant juices. The specialty restaurants don't have air conditioning, so be prepared to sweat when booking at each one. The hotel services are a scam, like the spa service. They sell you packages that they charge you for at checkout even if you haven't received them. We ended up paying $360 at checkout, and concierges Monserrat and David were incredibly inhumane and rude, demanding payment because they wouldn't let us leave the hotel, even proving we hadn't received the spa services. They just said that was their job—in other words, to steal from the customer. This is definitely a place where we will never return, and absolutely not recommended to anyone.
