"Kitchen was well equipped and perfect for those nights when cooking in. Home was set up as a home away from home with spacious rooms and comfy beds. Home was ideal for several quests with each having their own space. Best of all were the hosts - if we could give 10 stars we would. They were so helpful and easy to get in touch with and they were full of ideas and suggestions of what to do and where to go - they were amazing!"

"Wir haben als Gruppe mit 5 Personen (Eltern plus ewachsene Kinder) und Hund wunderbare Ferien in der Villa Il Borghetto erleben dürfen. Diese Unterkunft kann man nur als aussergewöhnlich bezeichnen. Historische Bausubstanz, innen so modernisiert, dass es an nichts gefehlt hat (komplette Küchenausstattung, Beleuchtung, Klimanalage etc). 4 Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Bettern/Matrazen. 3 wunderschöne Bäder mit Duschen. Antikes Mobiliar passend zum Stil des Hauses. Mehrer Terrassen mit Sitzgruppen, teilweise überdacht. Pool mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Absolute Privatsqhäre auf dem 50.000qm! - grossen parkartigen Grundstück. Die supernette Mihaela (Besitzerin/Verwalterin) wohnt in einem Nebengebäude, ist quai unsichtbar, aber nur eine SMS message entfert, wenn man etwas braucht. Problemelose schnelle Kommunikation mit der Agentur. Eine klare Empfehlung."

"We were 8 adults touring Tuscany and what a fantastic place to stay. We had tons of room, the kitchen is a chef's dream, and the pool was wonderful.The host was great at communication, and helped up find a number of restaurants and wineries.Checkin was easy, and the Villa was exactly as presented in the listing. If you have a small or large group I give this 5 thumbs UP!!!"

"We hosted our entire family and some close friends over a two-week stay in September, and it was an unforgettable joy. Every guest gasped with pleasure upon arrival, and these were almost all seasoned travelers. The villa has enough space to give everyone privacy and also to accommodate gatherings. We had karaoke in the lemon house, yoga on the lawn, wonderful dinners in the dining room, and late-night conversations in the sitting rooms. Looking out of the kitchen windows while preparing dinner was a joy, and my kids all miss that view! Daniela and Paulo were extremely responsive and helpful, and every service we retained e-bikes, masseuses, chefs was terrific, thanks to them. We made memories at Villa Valgiano that will last a lifetime. And we left a little bit of our hearts in Tuscany. A selection of mixing bowls, from small to mid-size, and some mixing spoons, would be great. And maybe a blender? We are serious cooks and missed those tools."

"This is an absolutely beautiful location set in the hills with the most fantastic view, we were blown away by the scenery, it was so peaceful. The children absolutely loved the pool we could not have asked for more, the kids also loved the chickens and the friendly cat family that came to visit. We will definitely come back to explore a bit more. Whilst we were here we went to Pisa and Florence both of which are roughly an hour away but whilst you are here I would strongly suggest the beautiful City of Lucca, and the cherry ice-cream in pescia just down the road next to the supermarket. "
