"The property was breathtaking, the animals were so fun to be around and Monica and Giovanni were the most exceptional hosts. You must have her cook for you, every item of food is from her farm or nearby farms and the food was perfect! We really enjoyed our time here with not only the accommodations but the company. You can truly see how much Monica cares for her beautiful animals. We hope to come again someday!!"

Our host Isabella was the best and helped with recommendations and the little things that set this property apart from others in the area. I highly recommend this property and quaint little home to anyone visiting the Lucca area in the future."

"15 of us came to celebrate my husbands 60th bday. The communication was unbelievably perfect. Mario the owner helped us before we got there. (Finding a Chef, transportation etc). Once there, Lisa ,the house manager, consistently answered many questions. She was so helpful as to where to eat, getting us a taxi. The property is SPECTACULAR! The pictures don’t do it justice.A trip of a lifetime. Hope to get back someday, couldn’t have been any better than it was. PERFETTO. Do not hesitate this beautiful property, memories that will last a life time. Grazie Mario and Lisa!"

"This property is lovely, up in the forest, and perfect if you want to stay and relax for your own private spa retreat. Here you can truly get away from it all--including your electronics, since internet connection was spotty at best! We chose this property as a jumping-off point for exploring the Apuan Alps, and for that, it was not ideal, because the road to and from the property in both directions is very narrow and winding. Even so, it is very beautiful, and only 20 minutes or so to the larger town of Bagni di Lucca. We were not able to take advantage of the sauna and spa, because the rules say they can only be used before 10pm, and we were too late returning from our adventures to do that. Be sure to have a light source if you arrive at night, because the access to the house is dark and has sloping steps. There are also a couple of steps to get to the bedrooms and the bathroom, so be prepared for that. It is a beautiful property, with a forest view and great for staying in with privacy and relaxation."
