"Overall, great. Restaurant was not as good as other experiences but staff was great. Amazing location. Would caution staying on the top floor near the alley. Room so hot closing the window was not an option and the alley is used by those traveling to and from some of the pubs, so you can imagine the noise. Not the fault of the hotel but shows the reason it is one of their less expensive rooms. GREAT LOCATION!"

"We had a wonderful experience whilst staying at the Penaeldroch Manor. Mike and Carie were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and spacious and had wonderful views of the river Lledr. The locally sourced morning breakfast was fantastic and set up for the rest of the day. "Very comfortable stay in one of the lodges. Great location with lots to see and do in the area, especially if you like outdoor activities. Snowdon hikes are a 15/30 minute drive away depending on what route you take up the mountain. Having free access to the swimming pool and hot tub is wonderful after a days hiking. Only negative was the quality and quantity of the breakfast was a bit lacking. "

"Hotel really nice, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Only a couple of things thst could be changed....tea spoons instead of wooden stirrers, biscuits in room, dog bed and bowl would be a nice touch too when u are staying with your pooch."

"What a fabulous place and amazing owners. Nigel and Clare are just lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The alpacas, ducks and hens make it a really interesting place to stay as well. Much easier travel into Betws, Conwy and Snowden from this side as well."

"The room were we stayed in was 114 and next to the kitchen so the smell was not so good, plus they were very nosey when starting there shift waking me up,,the pillows were a very low standard so I'd say bring your own,my single bed was like sleeping on a ironing board, not for me so didn't sleep well, and they could do with a sign for the hot water to say it hot as it was very,the food and staff excellent, but they don't make beds so don't expect them to be made,and possibly could do with a...
