"Amazing hostel. I really enjoy my stay here.
Owner Glenn is so helpful, resourceful and kind to have a chat. The volunteers Kasia and Dan are lovely to talk with.
It feels a very cosy hostel, not too crowded, noisy and neither a party hostel. I was visiting for tourism and leisure and while many of the guests staying here for work or business, there were no issues.
And Glenn kindly helped to sorted out a minor issue in the room very effectively.
Just a note there is no stove but a microwave...
"The room was very clean to a high standard the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the evening meals are really nice hence I brought my wife there for a birthday meal."
"We didn’t stay! As the hotel decided to cancel the evening before the Coldplay concert due to weather! What absolute rubbish. So disappointed and would never consider staying there again. Even paid upfront and booked months in advance. If I had have cancelled within 24 hours I would have been charged! We had to book another hotel which cost us above the odds just so we could attend the concert. A very upsetting and stressful experience. "

"Room clean and comfy. Limited menu in restaurant (understandable given it is small) Although it has no parking it is very close to a car park charging £3 for 24 hours. The hotel is also very close to Hull city hall, Hull Connexion and Princes key.
Ones downside, the scrambled eggs with the breakfast."
"First time staying here and must admit I was very impressed the hotel was spotless, bed was very comfy and would recommend to anyone who wants to be right next to the city centre. Stayed in other hotels which are nearly double the price and they were not as good as this one. Will Definitely be booking again in the future."
