Excellent generous breakfast served by friendly and welcoming team member. The mattress was overly worn and not comfortable, the bed linen was overly fragranced with fabric conditioner, as were the towels. Overall the positives way outweighed the negatives."

"Honestly, this place is just perfect. I was in Hull for work for a few days and this is a beautiful property in the heart of the old town. It’s exceptionally clean/well maintained with extremely well thought out, stylish aesthetics. It’s on a quiet cobbled street with fantastic beds and linens - bathroom toiletries are also top notch. I really cannot rate this place highly enough."

"The property is in need of a refurb as it is looking tired in places. Staff were helpful and polite. Outside seating was insuficient on this sunny weekend. Cooked breakfast was good but the continental (cheese & ham etc) was woefully poor. In the light of recent events the security was bad, entry to the rooms via lift and stairs was not controlled in any way so anyone could walk in off the street and have access. Location, location, location is the big plus for this hotel all in all a very enjoyable stay."
