"Bar was well stocked staff were all nice and pleasant, bed was a bit hard and the pillows not very comfortable "

"The hotel is very old but it’s been updated in an appropriate manner. Our room was a little small but served its purpose. The bathroom looked recently refurbished. The parking was excellent and as a blue badge holder we were able to park outside the main reception and parking was free. "

"Lovely old hotel, faded elegance. Needs a refresh, weeds growing out of gutters. The lift soon went out of action, not a problem for us but difficult for elderly and infirm residents. Near the ballroom the glass roof had lots of serious cracks and smelt of damp. Loads of space in the car park. These are observations not criticisms. We did enjoy our stay."

"First nights sleep interrupted abruptly by fire alarm going off at 4am, bathroom smelt of mould, mattress as stiff as an ironing board. Check in staff in reception upon arrival were good. "

"Lovely hotel, car park below with ample parking. Nice breakfast, huge beds, only critic is bath with shower. No walk in shower which with mobility issues did mean mom couldn’t shower. Lovely service and vibe, can’t fault the hotel. Thank you "

"Would recommend The White Hart. Helpful staff, excellent rooms with very comfy beds. Good bathroom. Breakfast was very high standard and plentiful. I’ll be staying here again "
