"Overall, this is a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained resort with friendly and helpful staff. That said, the resort operates under a somewhat restrictive set of policies that I haven't encountered at comparable properties, such as Pechanga and Harrah's. For example, outside alcohol is prohibited, and we learned that guests' coolers are subject to inspection. While we didn't bring any alcohol ourselves, I found the policy somewhat unusual. Another peculiar experience involved valet parking. When I asked the valet to charge my electric vehicle, I was told that I needed to present a club card. Because this was my first visit, I hadn't yet obtained one, and the valet would not charge my vehicle until I did. It seemed like an unnecessarily rigid requirement for a fairly routine service. Additionally, the dining options were somewhat limited, and none of the restaurants offered takeout service; all required sit-down dining. Although the available restaurants provided sufficient variety, having a few more options and greater flexibility would have improved the experience. I recognize that many of these policies are likely intended to promote guest safety, security, and an orderly environment. Nevertheless, they create a noticeably different atmosphere from what I've experienced at other resorts, where guests are generally afforded greater flexibility. "The room was great. A large room with an incredible view of the Temecula wine contry and surounding mountains that included a soaking tub in the bathroom. The front desk closes at 8pm, after that there is an after-hours phone # to call if you need anything. My wife and I needed a corkscrew bottle opener for wine we had bought; we were surprised there wasn't a cheap plastic one in the room with the resort logo. We did not call the after hours phone #, not knowing if we were calling the handiman or someone off-site??"
