"We booked a little late into the season so selection of room for our 6 days wasn't great. We had a balcony and beautiful sea view last year. This year we had to make do with a smaller room - rear view and an unusable balcony (too tight to get into and not a great view onto rear of property). Other than that the hotel is really great. "I was given a room with a balcony by thr older desk gentleman and it was totally relaxing. The room had beautiful blue tile, many light choices and an electric shade to the outside and one in the bathroom in glass. The best for lights were dimmed ones at night like little stars, not too bright, so I could see if I needed to get up. Nice and heavy blockout curtains, also.The food in the restaurant was very well prepared & tasty; make sure to ask for the chef's recommendations. The am buffet was...

"Staff was VERY unfriendly and uncooperative. Checking was supposed to be at 2 pm. We have to wait until 4pm. The receptionist at the front desk checked-in like several people who arrived after despite the fact that we arrived at 130 pm. I felt DISCRIMINATED. All customers who arrived after us were Italian. When questioned, apparently our room was the only one not ready. The receptionist was also arrogant and all of her answers or comments came with a nasty attitude. As an American, I...

"Staff was very professional, friendly and helpful they made sure that we had everything we needed and also showed us the various attractions and restaurants in the area"

"We enjoyed our stay there and the property is gorgeous but the building could do a bit of an upgrade. THe rooms need an update but the hotel is clean and spacious. Staff is friendly. One thing I noticed is that if the eggs run out for breakfast they do not refill them. So go early as the only hot part of the breakfast is the scrambled eggs and they disappear quickly."

"We would not recommend. Toilets sprayed water all over the floors when flushed; air conditioning did not work making for very uncomfortable conditions in a heatwave. On the surface, this looks to be a “renovation” - however, new-looking amenities are masking major issues underneath."

"Andrea’s B&B is super clean and very close to the archeological park of Pompeii. Breakfast is plenty and shower is great. Andrea himself is very nice. We could store our luggages in the garage after we checkout and pick them up after we toured the Pompeii park. I definitely will stay there again and highly recommend it."

"Easy to find with signs, short walk to entrances to the ruins. All new appliances and air conditioners. Tasty cappuccino available at Eni gas station right next door and a very good restaurant 21 Grams just 300 feet across the street. Well managed property. Glad we made the decision to stay in Pompeii verses staying in Naples."

"This is a small B&B with wonderful owners. They were very helpful in organizing day trips to see Pompei, Herculanium, Amalfi Coast and other destinations. Their recommendations for restaurants was very helpful and spot on. The breakfast was traditional Italian and plentiful.The rooms were very clean and they cleaned daily. We were quite comfortable. If you like an intimate B&B experience, this is a great one."

"Villa Franca is a quaint bed and breakfast located within an easy walk to the gates of Pompei. The staff are very kind and helpful - the rooms a little dated but proximity to the park makes up for it."
