"Hotel was clean, I think aimed at contractor/trade people. I don't think you would go there on holiday. Good for price. Rooms were good enough, but the hotel common areas need attention."

"Parking was easy on site and within view of our room. The Guy that greeted us was cheerful, pleasant and efficient. The room was basic, clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very good value for money. "

"Customer service lady was mean checking us in. No central air conditioning or heating. Room had some what fans. Clean but no amenities like fridge, iron, or microwave. Will I recommend it, yeah if you are on a low budget. If you want quality service, then don’t book this."

"Lovely place and very peaceful watching the boats up and down the canal and having visits from the ducks was lovely. We had everything we needed in the kitchen as it was well stocked. Parking on the pub car park was ok and we also had a lovely meal in there."

"This hotel is in a seriously poor state, with significant damp issues in the corridors, many broken and cracked fixings on the walls and smell throughout the corridors. The roof is currently being fixed, and there is scaffolding outside. The beds were really quite comfortable, but that was its only saving grace. For the price this is not an acceptable condition. "

"We enjoyed a very pleasant couple of nights here. The parking was a bonus as was the close proximity to Tamworth centre. The lounge was spacious, as was the kitchen. The bedrooms were of a good size with comfortable beds. The host was always quick to respond to my queries."
