"Staff professional, friendly and welcoming. Food very tasty, accommodation clean, tidy and comfortable-we were a group of 3 staying in one room for one night whilst attending crufts and the hotel didn’t disappoint, fab weekend, thanks everyone ❤️"

"No parking available. Carpet filthy and stained. Mould in several places in bathroom and corridor. No wifi whatsoever even though it is advertised. Drunks shouting till 1AM then drunk woman screaming at 3.30 AM. Possibly staff member. Place was full of workmen obviously not caring about dirty work boots. Lack of wifi blamed on the brewery. "

"Reception was dark and deserted. No-one at the desk when I arrived to check in (or at any other time). Had to call a mobile number to get someone. I arrived at 13:10 and was told they wouldn’t check me in until 2pm. I mentioned I wouldn’t be able to return again until later that night, maybe 11 or later and they said that was fine. However by 6:30pm I’d had 2 missed calls from them to ask when I was coming back to check in! So I made a special trip back - this was the only time there was someone at reception). Other things - there was no toilet paper in any of the toilets at reception, there was only an end of a roll in my room with no spare roll. There was no hand soap or body wash or any kind supplied (there were 2 mini shampoos and a mini body lotion). There was no hot water whatsoever for the shower, even after leaving running for 5 minutes. The radiator in the room was on all night with no way of switching off (it was already at its lowest setting) and so I woke may times in the night with a dry throat. I could open the window a tiny bit but didn’t see how it could stay open - it just dropped straight back down when you let go. Still no-one at reception next morning so couldn’t get help with any of the things mentioned. Would not stay again. "

"We enjoyed a very pleasant couple of nights here. The parking was a bonus as was the close proximity to Tamworth centre. The lounge was spacious, as was the kitchen. The bedrooms were of a good size with comfortable beds. The host was always quick to respond to my queries."
