"Could not watch tv the tv was poor not one channel was not clear horrible"

"This hotel was undergoing construction, which we didn’t know when we reserved our stay. That said, our room was very clean, staff was very nice and the included breakfast was great. However, we were staying overnight because we went to a wedding and knew we would be out late and wanted to have a nice, relaxing morning with our family (who also reserved rooms). The frustrating thing that prevented this was an extremely loud fire alarm went off for approximately two hours in the morning! It was so loud that you couldn’t even think straight nevermind try to relax in your room. For some reason, no one seemed to be able to turn it off. The hotel staff couldn’t figure it out, the fire department showed up but also wasn’t able to turn off the alarm, 2 hours later a security company showed up. We understand these things happen, but this seemed to us to be an extreme amount of time to not be able to turn off a very loud alarm. When we checked out we asked if there was any type of reimbursement for guests and they said they weren’t sure, I would have to check with who I booked through. Regardless, it seems the hotel could and should directly handle that for the convenience of the guests. Post construction, I’m sure this hotel will be wonderful but our stay was challenging…"

"The room was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of parking. The grounds were well maintained and set back from the highway so there was very little road noise. Highway access was also excellent and for those who Iike to shop and dine out, there is a smorgasbord of every type of shop just across the street. The rooms are spacious and reasonably well kept, with the edges of the wallpaper showing some needed repair - not a concern, just an FYI. The price per night was considerably less than the big name hotel chains. We will book again when we return to the area."

"As soon as we arrived to the hotel on Friday at 2:30am, we noticed a mildew smell and dead bug right in the middle of the floor. We tried to power through this, thinking that it could possibly be a small fluke and not an indicator of what was to come. Jose, the night agent, was very helpful and provided us with a key to the room despite there being some issues with our reservation in their system. We went to our room and did a bed bug check as a safety measure, and low and behold, we found a live bedbug in the mattress liner. We let Jose know that we saw a bug as we booked it out of there on our way to a bed bug free hotel up the street."

"I had a huge suite -- more than I needed! -- and it was well-appointed. But the best part was the staff. I left behind my sports jacket in the closet, but I made a quick call, and they fetched it and kept it at the front desk for me for a few hours until I could circle back. The staff could not have been nicer or more responsive!"
