"The location was quiet and close to the water. If we had had more time, we would have been tempted to try out the kayaks. The road was also good for a morning walk as it had sidewalks most of the way and not a lot of traffic. The bed was comfortable and the stove worked well. I cooked 12 lobsters over the course of two days (brought my own lobster pot). The water heated quickly and the burner was responsive to the dial so I was able to keep adjusting to keep the water from boiling over. It was quite warm while we were there and the two window A/C units struggled a bit to keep the rooms cool. The washer and dryer were a plus. The owner was easy to get in touch with."

"Ideally located one block from The Cabot performance venue, it is on a street corner near shops and restaurants. There is a local beach about 5-10 minutes away. Rooms are small but clean; ours had a loft bed which requires climbing up an attached ladder and a low ceiling. There is a parking lot which requires payment except for Sunday."

"Check in was easy albeit a bit underwhelming. I love the old, historical, boutique vibe. My room, The Cook, was a small basic room with a comfortable double or queen (?) size bed. The room was clean and fairly well appointed. Unexpected & pleasantly surprised: * Elevator * Continental breakfast in the second floor common area * Complimentary bottled water in the room * Overhead lighting AND dual bedside reading lights * A small frig with pay-as-you-go adult alcoholic beverages (did not do, but nice to have the option) * Plenty of towels and soap/shampoo * Adjustable heat pump Oddities AND disappointments: * ONLY 1 wastebasket and it was in the bathroom * No place to put recyclables * No bath mat (a bit slippery) and no floor mat to step out onto * Flat sheet OVER the comforter and then only a fitted sheet so I took the top sheet and comforter apart and flipped them so the flat sheet was against my skin * The room had 2 windows which were small, high up & beyond my reach so I was unable to adjust the blinds. There was light pollution filtering in during the dark hours (luckily I had an eye mask)."
