"Awesome hotel. Wonderful breakfast. Comfy beds. Loved hot tub."

"My initial impression of the hotel was negative as the drive to the hotel was difficult due to poor driving conditions and construction . Also there was no parking available at the hotel because the lot was roped off and we had to find a spot at a nearby hotel. However after we settled in, we found the hotel (though on the older side) to be clean, comfortable, and very quaint. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our chat with the evening desk manager. Its location was perfect for visiting Mt....

"Excellent hotel. Woke up to see the side of George Washington’s face. Would definitely recommend the rooms that are facing Mt Rushmore. Excellent breakfast. Crispy bacon."

"Booked 2 Queen bed, accessible room. Received confirmation, but was told only a King bed, accessible was available. Had no choice but to accept room which meant has to share bed with mother who had just been discharged from physical rehab hospital. Was not offered discount for inconvenience. Employees were very nice, though. Room needed vacuuming and there was a white sticky substance (candy?) That hadn't been cleaned off small standing table, chair and footrest. Good breakfast buffet."

"Happy with the stay. Room was perfect location to base daily trips to see the local sights from"

"It was perfect for our visit. Efficient and very clean."

"The hot tub was underutilized , which worked for me. Staff were very helpful. The wild turkeys in the parking lot were a bonus."

"I was glad to stay here"

"Had a great time"

"Had room 138. Very nice room. People above us checked in around 9-10pm and were very loud stomping around until after midnight. Not a hotel problem, but maybe reminders upon checking in to be courteous to the people in the room below you because they may need rest. Take your kids to a park and let them run instead of a hotel room."

"Spotlessly clean, cute retro theme. The owners were friendly and helpful. Great location just down the road from the entrance to Custer State Park. Several great places for dining, drinks, and shopping."

"It seemed clean but I woke up with my eye all itchy and red. I sleep with a CPAP machine, so I had to unplug either the lamp or clock next to the bed. The pool was closed. The staff WAS AWESOME and directed me to the convenience store behind the parking lot and car wash so I could get eye drops. Thank goodness! Didn't want to drive anywhere till my eye cleared up."
