Room was also a little hot and AC not very effective… outside temp was 23 degrees or so… so when heatwave hits it will be overly warm in room to get a good night’s sleep. "Nice beds, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. However, the visit was spoiled by the malfunctioning air conditioning in the middle of summer. There was instead a plastic fan avaialble which perhaps proves that the staff were aware of of issue. They did offer to see if they could place us in another room but that would mean re-packing again in the middle of the night, so we just had to put up with it. Really uncomfortable night with a 3 year old!"

"Pros: Surrounded by a landscaped golf course. Bath not just a shower. Toiletries in room which included conditioner which isn't always provided. "Disappointing one night stop over. Its more of a business traveller, conference & private events venue than a country house hotel. Suite 15 is directly opposite the kitchen extractor fan which is on from before 5.00am until the kitchen closes at night & can easily be heard in the room. "It was very spacious. Beautifully maintained. Room was lovely. Bed very comfy. Iron and ironing board. The Breakfast was gorgeous both mornings. Very good value. Staff very friendly and helpful.
