Food was ample and tasty (traditional Japanese foods) and served in the privacy of the room. Pillows are traditional Japanese style (small and somewhat hard) so I would recommend bringing your own pillow if you prefer a larger and softer pillow. Website is not clear, but rooms have sinks and toilets, but the bath (onsen style) is shared. Ample parking and great...

"Lovely property, secluded but good shuttle options to ski field (less than 5 mins) and twice daily to Karuizawa. Staff were friendly - used Google translate as there were not many western travellers. Amazing Onsens - all gender seperate apart from private but open 24 hours. Food was great - and a shop for snacks, souvenirs and drinks. Great for winding down and experiencing the snow and small field close by."
