Very peaceful sitting there in the morning with my cup of coffee. The hosts were wonderful and so gracious. The only thing i gave less than 5 stars was the location right on a main, busy road. But once inside you dont even know its there. All your concentration is on the back deck. I had my pups with me and they enjoyed themselves as well. I will definitely be back and booking with these owners. "

"First, I have to say that all communications with Jonathan were excellent. No matter what question I had was immediately answered. The house was as described, very clean and had everything needed for a relaxed stay.Boating, don't expect to bring your own boat as the marsh is very shallow. There is a tandem kayak there but I brought my own kayak with us and it was great, spent a lot of time on the water.Overall it was a great relaxing trip but if you want a busy area with night life this is not the place to go.The one negative I would have, not with this unit, but Emerald Isle beach access. Access is mainly limited to the 2 paid parking areas which used hourly parking. There is some other access points like down near the Coast Guard station but it is a long walk to to beach. I must say it is about the nicest and widest beach we have ever been on.All in all I would highly recommend this property. It is definitely water front with beautiful views. "
