"Room was clean. Should have blackout curtains in rooms near external lights. Breakfast was good but limited."

"Loved the ambiance. It was loud. There was a group in the lobby we could hear down the hall pretty late. Someone’s running in the halls above really late as well. There was some weird vibrating noise in our room too. It was pretty humid in our room so we had to open the window to get it to cool down."

"Overall the experience was wonderful. Carol was very accommodating and the breakfast she provided was very good. This was our first time at a Bed and Breakfast and we really enjoyed it."

"Overall we liked the Nook. Beds are comfortable, communication with host was very clear and helpful, the hot tub was great and robes in the house is a nice touch. The space is clean and decoration and layout was great. We would have appreciated more towels specifically since we used the hot tub. The only negative is the odor in the house. We walked in to an overpowering scent that I believe was a very powerful diffuser of a cedarwood oil. It filled the house and was unpleasant. It was so strong that everything I brought into the house had to be washed when I got home. When we turned down the diffuser, unfortunately a pet odor became apparent. It is a shame because this house was great in every other way. I sadly wont book this place again due to the smell. "

"For our family of four, it was a good amount of space. I loved all personal touches and eclectic decor. The location was close to town, but you do have to cross highway 20 to get to town and the traffic is crazy. The beds were comfortable. I enjoyed the maple room. My daughter stayed in the other room and said it was cold. We propped open the door all day before the next night and that helped. I liked all the coffee and tea options but couldn't find coffee cups. The other thing, there is a lot of noise from the highway and train tracks. We did find it a bit disturbing through the night. Overall we enjoyed our stay though and we all liked the uniqueness of the property. "
