"We loved our stay at the Grand Hotel Gozo. Really good location and views. Standout were the wonderful staff - all so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I cannot recall the names, but the Portuguese maitre d, reception staff and Hungarian beautician are especially to be commended for their wonderful service. "Great hotel in lovely quiet area of malta. We had a deluxe room which was fantastic with a large balcony and sea view. This was on the other side of the road from the main hotel building. You can exit onto the road from this side so no need to keep going under the tunnel. Indoor pool was great and very warm. Unfortunatley the roof bar/pool was closed for the season as was the outdoor pool but they looked nice. Bar was nice and drinks reasonably priced. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Bus stop...

"Everything was really good but did not receive 5 star service that I was hoping for! Breakfast is amazing! Facilities are really good! However I booked for massage through their online system and on the day they said they don’t have the booking and the spa did not have two people hammam massage available at the same time! So one of the most important relaxing activities that I wanted to do on our holiday I coudnt! And reception stuff simply just said sorry without any real emotion! "

"Our room was very spacious beautiful view of the sea. Bed was quite comfortable. Pillows were comfortable to. Shower was good. The food was good, quite a variety. The bar staff made amazing cocktails. The spa well we expected a nice chilled relaxed massage we had the couple's experience, but turn out to not be as relaxing as we thought (so take note). We asked for a relaxing massage. Other wise all in all the stay was good."

"Wirklich zum weiterempfehlen, sehr zentral gelegen , Bus, Strand , Cafés , Restaurants alles in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Mit dem Bus nach Valetta in 15 Minuten Flughafen 20Minuten und trotzdem im Zimmer sehr ruhig . Roof top Pool mit Blick zum Meer . Sehr gute Matratze, free wifi, super freundliche Mitarbeiter. Wir kommen wieder!"

"The view from our room was lovely. Even by European standards our room was quite small but storing bags was made easier by an armoire. The bath was a lovely treat after a long day of hiking but make sure you have your shampoo, conditioner, etc as they are not provided. There is a standard liquid soap provided. The restaurant was very good and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there. "

"Room small but clean, bed comfortable, shower hot, room service everyday. Facilities very good(although outdoor pool very cold, it was February and a few pieces of equipment in the gym didn't work). Drinks reasonable(2 for 1 cocktails between 1800 - 2030). Didn't eat food in hotel, so can't give recommendations(although it did look a little pricey). No entertainment. Would definitely go back for 2/3/4 nights stay but not any longer as not a lot to do in the surrounding area which is set on a...

"The weather was not so good with several days of rain and the hotel has 7 separate blocks so to get to reception or the dining room means getting wet. The dinning room was a bit soulless and the buffet food was often cold. Being out of season the other food outlets were not open and there were no restaurants or bars within walking distance."

"Breakfast was excellent. It was a great deal included with the stay which included a good selection of cold continental buffet. You were also able to select one hot breakfast from their menu too. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean however noticed some parts were aging (rust in bathroom) and sometimes dusty in the room. No fault of the hotel but after using the taps or toilet there would be a lingering “sewer” smell. Overall I would still recommend as the hotel...

"Situated in a great location between Buggiba and St Julien's this hotel has something for everyone. Rooms are spacious and the breakfast is great value for money, the views from the hotel across the bay are fantastic and also the courtyard rooms are really quiet and get the sun in the morning. Bus stopped located just outside the hotel on the main road or take a bolt taxi which is great value for money and takes away the stress. "

The room was spacious and the spa / pool facilities were excellent. There are only few niggles that could do with improvement: the lighting within the room, the availability of room air conditioning year round and a more extensive breakfast (greater fruit availability).
