LOG HOME ON THE FRIO RIVER

"The house’s location was perfect - steps away from the river. You could enjoy the peaceful mornings and evenings from the back porch overlooking the river and spend all afternoon down at the river where there was plenty of grass space and smooth rock space to sit out and enjoy, and then deep enough areas for swimming and shallow enough spots to walk around in to enjoy the water! The house was clean, well stocked (one of the best stocked I have stayed in), and had plenty of space for everyone to hang out and enjoy. It had such a homey and inviting feel to it. My family is already asking when we can return! If you are looking for a spot to get away and relax, this house is a great place to escape to."

"First class experience in every way. The owner was great to deal with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the peace and quiet, and some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The outdoor deck and grill were fantastic for evenings together."

"Beautiful location, there were 9 of us and we were all very comfortable, plenty of room and beds. Big, beautiful porch to watch magnificent sunsets over the Frio River. We spent most of our time in the water. There are many stairs to the water but once you are down along the river, it is gorgeous! Great place for families! Host was wonderful in communicating with us along the way. Highly recommend!!"

"This peaceful Creekside cabin was a great family getaway! The Cabin was very clean and the property was very well taken care of. This property was pet friendly and fees were very reasonable. The views were beautiful and the host made everything very simple so that it was very easy to get settled in. The location was close to all the places we had planned on going to and was welcoming to come back to after a day out on the Frio or hiking in Lost Maples."

"This property was very clean inside and looked just like the pictures. Very nicely updated. The bed could use some updating. If you take your dog this time of year, be aware...there are MANY sticker burrs around the outside of the cabin! The only other warning is: the river is not that easy to access if you are older (we are 70). You can drive across the road but then you have to walk over very large rocks and debris just to get down to the water. Once you get there the water is BEAUTIFUL AND REFRESHING and a perfect place to sit and chill."

"We had a fun & relaxing stay over Labor Day weekend. The property is beautiful and the cabin is cozy, with plenty of space for a family of four. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch, watching wildlife which included deer, turkeys, and a variety of songbirds. The property owner was very accommodating and even offered us a discount for extending our stay. We look forward to visiting again!"
