The Pub was ideal for my needs as I was staying for a couple of nights to attend a Football match. It was a decent base for a drink at the end of each day after exploring Durham in the evenings.

A perfect overnight, affordable stopover for our daughter's graduation. The pub was noisy until about 11.30 but the bed was comfy, rooms were clean and the welcome was typical of the friendly North East!

Did the trick

Did the job for the reasonable price tag, bed was clean and comfortable and Durham centre a nice walk away from the property. We would consider staying again if on a budget.

Good room for the price.

The room was quite small but everything we required was there. Nice and warm and quiet. The bonus was that they have a shared kitchen with a fridge, sink and crockery/cutlery. The staff were really friendly. Plenty of car parking beside the rooms,
