5/5 - Excellent
Durham has wonderful history and is a beautiful area.
While Pity Me might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Crook Hall and Gardens and Gala Theatre Durham.

While Brasside isn't home to many top sights, Crook Hall and Gardens and Finchale Priory are some notable places to visit nearby.

What a wonderful stay. I highly recommend Ramside hall for a getaway. Excellent spa and views.

Stayed for 3 nights over New Year...was absolute bliss. Late booking and the communication was brilliant to get it sorted. Cottage was immaculate throughout with everything we needed. Perfect location for walks, and yet only 5 minutes from shops and Durham centre Will be returning again for sure...thank ...

Handy location to Durham and countryside. Clean cozy and friendly clear communications. Nice touch to have some supplies available on arrival. Felt unclear where to park as other locals parked up but I’m sure it would have been clear should I have asked.

Durham has wonderful history and is a beautiful area.
Rich in history. Easily done in one day. Quite a few empty stores. Per one of the locals “town is dying.”
Crook Hall and Gardens is lovely.
Wonderful manageable city. The Cathedral is a wonder of Romanesque architecture and the riverine setting and walks along the the embankment are tranquil and spectacular. The city is a bit hilly but that ads to its charm.
Nice town. We've stayed in Durham several times.
Loved this quaint, friendly, and stress free city.
