Great hotel! Super friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms. Super comfy bed, one of the best I've had in Europe. The AC was wonderful. It is walkable to old town and Crooks Garden, the Cathedral and the River Walk, right by everything. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
Good location, nice rooms and bar. Very friendly staff. Breakfast left a lot to be desired.

Small room, mould in bathroom, poor breakfast that was far too expensive for what it was, kiosk check-in. Staff at the bar/“check-in” was very helpful and pleasant.
Located not too far from all the Durham City Downtown attractions. Rooms were nice, clean, and in very good condition. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were warm and welcoming.
Very friendly staff, clean room, everything clean inside room. Unexpected delicious value for money breakfast. Cozy restaurant at lobby floor. Highly recommended

Strict check in time of 3 pm when kiosk opens - then it wouldn’t accept overseas postcode so staff had to check me in anyway.
Spacious comfortable room. Enjoyable breakfast buffet - added at extra cost when booking. Convenient location just a short walk to Durham Old Town - Castle and Cathedral.
Thank you, Premiere Inn, our overnight stay was perfect and easily could stay longer, to accommodate our family of 4. It was clean, the staff were friendly, resourceful and accommodating. If you have lots of luggage, it is better to catch a cab from the rail station. Only £5-€12 because it's close but hilly.
The breakfast was delicious and good value. Durham is beautiful and charming with so much character.
Enjoyed my stay at this Premier Inn. Staff were all super friendly and helpful.
Only thing I wondered about was a lingering smell of stale cigarette smoke, or something, in the hallway outside my room on the fourth floor. I did not mention it to the staff so my bad! Anyway, I would definitely stay here again regardless.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced breakfast with staff who were very helpful and attentive to allergies. Good location between train station and centre of town.

Well, it's Premier inn. You know what you're getting. It's not luxury, but also it's not run down. Cleaning and bed top notch. Works for a one-nighter.
Generally, we had an excellent stay. I recommend if you're staying in Durham. However, two notes.
1) if you want your room cleaned, make sure the staff follow through.
2) they say "kids eat free all day," but that's only off the kids menu
There was no internet in the entire hotel & no idea when it was going to be repaired.
The rooms do not have safes. No washcloths either. Bathroom needs some deeper cleaning but nice shower.

Staff was great, sadly the heater didnt work, and the little heater they provided did little to keep the room warm, in such terrible winter weather. And although the staff was amazing, they didn't offer any room changes or compensation. Thankfully we were able to find wool blankets at a near by store and bought 2 of them so that both my child and I could stay warm at night. So just think twice before you stay. I am sure the other rooms would be fine.
