"The room was clean other than spiders and webs in the corners of the room. Not well maintained outside. You open your door to the back area and don’t look up cause it is dirty/gross, webs, dead bugs. They don’t really take pride of the outside of this place. Our air conditioner sounded like it was going to die any minute."

"very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead."

There was an unpleasant smell after flushing the toilet,so we kept the bathroom fan running and the door closed. They advertised a "beach" but they have a different definition of beach than I do. "Exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, exactly as described with everything you need for basic amenities. Washrooms are outside of the cottage, but not what you’d expect. They’re so clean and cute! Amazing host - Communication great and easy of access into property was perfect. We took bikes so we could ride around and found a nice park close by to tour around. Our son LOVED fashioning off the dock! Overall we had the best experience and can’t wait to do it again. Until next time...
