"Anniversary "stay-cation". We had wanted to try the Sunseeker Hotel so we booked it for the weekend. Ended up in the Sunsuites section and it was GORGEOUS -- everything perfect - the layout, the kitchen, the expansive deck with a sunset and full moon view, oversized bathroom, comfortable bed, large TVs (perfect for watching the World Series). The staff including valet and front receptionist were so friendly and responsive. Only at once at the sports bar and the food was excellent. Wanted to swim in the infinity pool but it got too windy. However, we went up to the 8th floor for a cocktail and view. Again-- it was magnificent. We will be back!"

"This is an historic property and the owner has strived to maintain its historic nature. The owner was pleasant and very helpful. We stayed in the wilderness room. It was clean. The bed was very comfortable and pillows perfect for us. The breakfast prep room was well stocked with 24/7 snacks and drinks. Breakfast selections were typical to those of other three star hotels. There is a large, quaint and well appointed sitting room central to all 2nd floor rooms."

"Overall, we had a decent stay. The area was nice, and the property was clean overall. Having the canal right outside was a nice feature, and it’s about a 40-minute drive to an actual beach, which wasn’t too bad.There were a few minor issues during our stay. The AC wasn’t always working properly, and the hot tub had a wooden board placed over it. Unfortunately, water collected underneath the board and completely filled with mosquito larvae, which was definitely unpleasant.The listing also mentions a dock, but there really isn’t a dock—it’s more of a small bench area where you can sit by the canal. It wasn’t terrible overall, and there were definitely some positives, but there are a few things that could be improved.Unfortunately, I did have to cut my trip short because I became pretty ill, so I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the rest of my stay."
