Only 1 hour from Toronto and in the middle of nowhere. Nestled on 40 acres of protected forest lives a 200 year old log cabin with modern architectural upgrades. Reconnect with nature on 3kms of hiking trails, a private skating pond nestled in the woods, a pool, a 1000 sq ft deck, an outdoor dining room, and a fire pit with seating for 10. Additional amenities include a hot tub, pool, trampoline, swing, pool table, air hockey table, piano, indoor wood burning fireplace, and BBQ.
We are so happy to host you and hope you love this place as much as we do. This magical little cottage is where our family comes to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. The original log cabin was built in 1824 and has been updated with modern amenities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Fun fact - the dining table was crafted from a maple on the property. We encourage you to get outside and explore the property, take a dip in the hot tub, and unwind.
Amenities include:
• 6 person hot tub
• Pool (16 ft x 4 ft deep)
• Private pond for ice skating (weather dependent)
• Trampoline
• Pool table & air hockey
• Swing
• Large fire pit with seating for 10

Property can sleep 8 adults & 4+ children (depending on age). Main cabin has 3 bedrooms with a queen bed in each (central air). Garage loft sleeps 2 adults on a comfortable queen pull out (separate building to home, no central air but stays cool/positioned in the trees, equipped with fans). For the kids, there is an additional double sofa bed, 2 toddler beds, a toddler cot, and a pack & play. All queen beds come with a duvet and 3 inch memory foam mattress topper or feather bed. The cabin has 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bath, and the garage loft has another half bathroom.
We supply fresh sheets, bedding, towels, and a fully stocked kitchen, coffee maker, and espresso machine (we LOVE to cook and are happy to share spices/oils). We also have wood burning fireplaces in the cabin and will supply your wood, as well as firewood for the fire pit outside.
