"Hai and Chilly were fabulous hosts, communicative and always happy to assist in any way. As it was winter we opted to stay in the village. "This hotel is just outside of cat ba town. to go out for dinner in the evening involves a bit of a walk up a hill into town. It is down in the harbor where you catch the boats to go to Halong Bay. "From check-in to check-out, we felt truly special. The boat is relatively new, so everything on board looks spectacular. Our room had a balcony, offering a dreamlike view of Halong Bay.
