"If you are staying in the Manuel Antonio Park area, we recommend at least one night here. The view from our room was SPECTACULAR! We took a hike around the property which include an series of aerial bridges as well as trails below. During dinner we were treated to a dinner show of a troup of monkeys climbing through the treetops. As the restaurant balcony was a treetop level we had a great vantage point. And as we were heading to our room, the hotel host pointed out a sloth hanging in a tree...

"The property at GAIA hotel was truly a tropical paradise nestled in the rainforest. The views are amazing, the spa relaxing and the rooms were spaced to allow privacy and a relaxing atmosphere. "Great experience overall. Best part is a lot of monkeys and birds are visible from their facility which has a lot of wooded area around it. Spotted capachin monkeys, squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, red macaws, bananaquit, Agoutis and iguana. The hotel is 5 mins from National park and beautiful beaches. A lot of restaurant choices around and a bus shuttle runs every 15 mins to National park. "

"Amazing property with attention to every detail. Loved having our own concierge to help with questions. Service to the beach was helpful and appreciated. Loved the restaurant by the pool and especially the pool. The sloth tour was incredible that is why we stayed at Tulemar. Loved all the monkeys as well. Stay minimum 3 days to see wildlife and enjoy the beach. We were warned that our room was by the street and was noisy. But it was very noisy with motorcycles. But they stopped around 10:30....

"The property is absolutely gorgeous. There were wonderful views and lots of wildlife. We stayed in a basic room and it was more than adequate. Some of the reception area staff were not nice and gave conflicting information about the free hotel shuttle. Most of the other staff were very nice though. Be aware if you want to explore the property there is a lot of inclines. Walking to and from the very nearby Biesanz beach was strenuous on the steep incline but very worth it. We saw so many monkeys...

"Nice clean place with friendly staff, with a pool by the forest, a quiet spot for yoga/meditation/massage, and paths in the forest where we saw squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys and scarlet macaws. The pool has a few missing tiles but, apart from that minor thing, everything else was nicely kept and clean."
