"The staff here were amazing, very kind and helpful. The room itself had quite thin walls and creaky floors which made it difficult to sleep. There were also no electrical outlets on either side of the bed (at least in my room.) The location is fantastic l—a quick walk from the train station and the centre of town. Overall not the most relaxing stay due to the noise from the other rooms, but great for one night!"
"Had a nice stay at the Hilton, clean comfortable and great location. Slightly dated in areas (pool, and room) and lacking atmosphere in the bar (no background music).
After spending £294 a night we were disappointed to find that we needed to pay an extra £10 per session to use the pool. We were not notified about this on reception which was disappointing.
The hotel do offer a discount code on the NCP carpark which is a stones throw away, although this is still incredibly expensive.
Lovely gesture of a balloon and cake for my son’s birthday which was a very well received when we entered our room."
"Second stay at this hotel, from the polite welcome, to the large clean room, and just a short stroll to Cardiff Bay, and all that has to offer, we even walked into city centre, which only took 39 minutes."
"The room was lovely and the stay very pleasant. I didn’t appreciate the siren going off around 8:30 am. It was the fire alarm but it turned off a minute later, so obviously false. Thankfully I wasn’t asleep. I also felt the taps were overly complicated, style over substance. We really enjoyed our stay though and would definitely come again."
"Bedroom 120 is very tired! Tatty. Needs a total refurb. Needs a fresh set of eyes to look at it. Windows dirty. Damaged door with tape on it - painted over . Old -worn bathroom. Give it 3/10. The corridor needs a proper good clean as well.
But despite that the staff at hotel especially at check in were absolutely outstanding. Really warm and lovely. 10/10.
The rooms need a big total makeover -"
