"It was a nice house with character. A lot of spiders all around the property and the road noise was absolutely insane. I do wish teh listing clearly discussed how many steps there are to get into the house and also to get to downstairs. They offer child gates, but it was a bit intense for our family member with mobility issues and also the small children. Great place for able bodied adults wanting to have a space to hang out, but not so much for elder or small children. We did appreciate the toys and all that was done to make it a welcoming place for all ages. I would stay again but not with ones under 2 or with mobility issues. Back deck was amazing though fro evenings and just being together! All in all it was great for a week stay!"

"House is nice, but could use some upgrades.We had issues with the older ceiling fans in both bedrooms. The chain pull switches were hanging up on both rooms for the fans and they could not be turned on.The only air conditioning in the house was a small window unit in the kitchen. If your trip is during warm periods you will be hot. We were especially at a detriment because the house would get hot because we could not open the windows because of the wildfires. Even when it was safe to open the windows it was hot in the house until late in the evening. Naps during the day are hot and the house didn’t cool down with the windows open until about 10 PM.The home is not advertised as having a/c, and made me realize this is a possibility and I will be checking closer on future rentals.I would recommend the owner adding a/c."

"Gorgeous place for our multi generational family to relax and enjoy natural beauty of summertime Oregon, with all the amenities! There’s so much attention to detail here in both the inside and outside spaces. The huge back patio is incredible, with a giant picnic table, sheltered and open air seating, shady and sunny spots, gas range BBQ, hot tub and easy barefoot access to the Sandy River’s edge. We sat outside and bird watched in the daytime, listening to the soothing sounds of river rushing over rocks. The private river access — after a careful walk across the exposed rocks— was next-level incredible, offering us a refreshing swimming hole with a natural eddy perfect for playing on intertubes or floating in easy peace. At night we warmed ourselves outside by the gas fire. The over head lighting added a magical touch. The inside spaces were also lovely. Everyone slept well in cozy beds, in nicely appointed rooms. We will definitely be back!"

"The property was great for our friends' weekend. We had plenty of space for everybody to sleep, a great common area that was open, and a wonderful view onto the deck where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed the mountains, the river, the barbecue grill, and the hot tub. Overall a fantastic trip, we will definitely come back."

"We enjoyed this house on the river So much that one day we will be coming back. The view from the deck, the living room and upstairs bedroom are sublime. Since my girlfriend and I are in our seventies, the pathway down to the river was impossible due to the big rocks and the incline, but if you're young, i'm sure you can manage it."
