"We had a lovely stay. The hotel is modern, clean and well presented, and the restaurant, bar and breakfast teams were absolutely fantastic — friendly, welcoming and a real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, our check-in experience was disappointing. Despite booking a luxury double room, we were initially allocated an accessible room. When we queried this and showed our booking confirmation, which clearly confirmed the room we had reserved, both reception staff and the manager suggested the error was ours rather than acknowledging the hotel's mistake. Having travelled extensively and stayed in hotels around the world, we felt this fell short of the level of customer service expected from a hotel of this standard. Thankfully, the excellent service from the restaurant, bar and breakfast teams helped make the overall stay enjoyable. The hotel itself is lovely, but we feel that some additional training for the reception team would help bring the check-in experience in line with the otherwise high standards of the hotel."

My request for a quote room were accounted as best as possible by having a room on the top floor and the back side, however my room was facing the kitchen extract fan. Unfortunately this fan was running quite noisy from 7AM until after 10PM. I would suggest including soft and hot drink within the cooked breakfast price, as I have paid almost £20 for an eggs Benedict+ orange juice + latte"
