"It was our 5th Christmas staying there. Staff are great, rooms are great, location is great. Lovely 10min walk to town for food and shops. Can park mostly easily and only £15 for the day/night. Best tradition of ours at Christmas. "

"The room was lovely, and our stay massively exceeded our expectations including an evening dip in the hot tub and then using the hotel bar for games. The staff made everything that much more special for my girlfriend (now fiancé) birthday and for our engagement during our stay too to put the extra special touches in. "A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. "I have been to York many times and stayed in many great places around the city but this beats them all. An easy 3 minute walk to Yorkminster, a Sainsbury's out front and The Bootham Tavern pub across the street. The pictures included in the listing are 100% accurate. The flat itself is roomy, well appointed and has all the amenities one expects (more, actually). It was quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. And having a parking spot in the lower level garage was a bonus. On my next trip, this...

"Lovely location. Staff were very helpful. Rooms are a little tired but they are perfectly acceptable as they are clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices are great. They are more than happy to accommodate any needs. We had a planned power cut when there and the staff were very well prepared. They gave us a powerbank, pre charged lights for our room and put heating on to ensure the rooms were warm before it went off. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Would definitely stay here...

"Great hotel in a great position so you can get all the site seeing in. Our room was a river view standard room very clean. We opted for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint good choice of food from a cooked breakfast, to cereal and even cake. Would definitely stay again One thing I would recommend is if you want to park at the hotel there’s limited spaces so turn up early when check out is and leave your bags at the hotel and go and enjoy a walk round York then go back and check in."
