"The property/room was very clean and up to date. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The only complaint I have is that there were ants and bugs in and around the pool so much that my granddaughter wouldn't swim and I had to carry her back to the room."

"I’m quite happy that I stayed at the Cedar Motel. The place is charming, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. I was able to lay in my bed and look out the window across the bay and it was so peaceful sitting and drinking my morning tea on the front bench, looking out across the water. Great place for peace and quiet. If I come back to this area, most definitely will stay here again."

"Our family stayed here overnight during spring break and had a very positive experience. It was dog-friendly, which we appreciated, and the things to do in the lobby was fun. We especially appreciated how the manager went way beyond what was expected to get us a diet coke when the property was out. Everyone was so very nice. We'll be back!"

"Cleanliness of the room could definitely have been better. TV remote was missing from the room but a new one was brought up quickly when we called down to the desk. Check-in is a little confusing as where to go but with help from a staff member they got us taken care of. There is definitely a lot to do on the property. The free bowling plus wine and beer in the room is a great touch. "

"We stayed in the cottages on Lake Eerie, but all of the areas of Lighthouse Point looked very well cared for and landscaped. The Cottage was decorated nicely and we enjoyed sitting on our deck watching the boats go by. It was cloudy and cool while we were there but we did notice there would be no shade in the afternoon/evening. The cottages were very well designed and thought out. Our family of four (two young adult kids) were comfortable for three nights. My only complaint is that the...

"Check in went well with help from Brandy.The bed in our room looked like someone was not trained well..the dust ruffle was hanging on floor. Thought the storage in bath was very unique and great.The pull out shelves in bed area also great function. Breakfast was quite nice...red velvet waffles ...fun flavor."
