"This property was very clean and well-maintained. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. The sitting area off the lobby for breakfast was surprisingly large. This hotel is in a great location for a trip on the ferry."

"The facility is well kept and clean. However, my daughter was also staying at the hotel and her room smelled musty. It was on the first level. She didn’t want to say anything because she was traveling with her 2 daughters and did t want to disrupt them. I requested her to say something. Other than that, the stay was most enjoyable. Breakfast choices were also good."

"We arrived at 5:30 pm and our room was still not ready. We were told that they were under new management as of the day we checked in. They were also not able to provide us with a key upon check-in so when we returned from dinner we had to walk all around the building to the front entrance to get into our room (without a key the other entrances were not accessible). We feel that we should not be charged the additional "facilities fee" for the inconveniences."

"The room was okay with basic amenities. Room was furnished with 2 queen beds, fridge and microwave. Parking was free and plentiful. The staff weren't customer oriented, didn't want to be bothered."

"Check in was chaotic. I’m the staff called the room phone at 11:05pm stating they needed me to come back to the front desk for additional information. I asked the manager why they would call and wake me and my young child up past 11 pm for a reservation that had been paid for weeks in advance. They don’t tell you there are additional fees to use the beach / pool. The hallway smelled like cigarettes and many guests had barking dogs. Certainly not worth the price. "The property is close to the most upscale in that area. Ther is a need for some renovations. Very secured and parking is great. Parking is one of the reasons we choose to stay there, the staff are great and the views from the room are great. There is a need to offer better breakfast options and their new eco friendly air conditioning system is not customer friendly and is confusing how. It works. They need to rethink their HVAC System."

"Very comfortable and wonderful location in Falmouth, close to the dining and shopping. It's also is also within walking distance to the free Steamboat Authority shuttle bus to get to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket Island. The staff was super helpful."

"Generally personable staff; room service was excellent. Stayed here at various times over the years, the place has been slowly upgrading. This trip I had my dog, so was assigned a pet-friendly room on the lower floor, not facing the water. Everything was adequate, but I know that some of the upper floor rooms facing the water are nicer. No coffee maker in the room; one has to go to the lobby for coffee. A small thing, to be sure."

"Summercamp is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Oak Bluffs. It has a large front porch with oversized modern rocking chairs and a view of the lake. It is also a short walk to the ferry and the bus stop that takes you to Edgartown and Vineyard Haven. It was so easy to get around. The Property Manager, Kate and her entire crew had the best hospitality that we have had at any hotel. Everyone was so professional, pleasant and accommodating. It is not how something goes wrong...

"The hotel location is beautiful. The building is well kept and clean. The staff was amazing! We loved our room overall but there were a few minor inconveniences: 1. The shower handle kept getting stuck and was hard to turn off. 2. We went in April and the room got very hot at night. You couldn’t change the room thermostat from hot to cold. So they told us to open the windows, which let a bee inside our room because the windows had no nets. "

"Only planned to stay one day but all ferrys were canceled so we went back for another night. It was a great pleasure. More than cozy and comfortable. I would return"
