"I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. "Beautiful harbour-side hotel with lovely views. Excellent spa.
My only niggle is that the architect over-complicated the lighting system. Our room had 9 light switches (excluding the one for the bathroom) and it was impossible for us to turn off the dimmed light in the entrance hall area - no matter what switch combo we tried. My son and his gf had the same issue in their room. "
"This hotel worked for our short 3 day stay. The staff was great and very friendly. The room was in good shape and as described. I filtered my hotel search to include AC so beware it doesn’t have AC or a working elevator. The front desk and owner told us it was getting fixed the next day after we checked. It was not so FYI. We didn’t take advantage of that in house breakfast. We just went to the bakery across the street. I wound close by saying this is a good hotel not great. "
"Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub.
The rooms we had were lovely although one was a little small due to being upstairs, however this did not detract from my stay as I had it all to myself!
