"Absolutely adorable & very spacious original log home on a small hill, in the woods with very beautiful surroundings. Great large porch with rocking chairs that we enjoyed very much. Large, stocked kitchen& nice wood carved dining table with benches We loved all the neat, interesting cabin decor. We immediately felt right at home! Must mention that there was some definite issues with the many ladybugs coming inside & more importantly the upstairs a/c unit did not cool as well as the downstairs and of course upstairs is where heat rises, so the best a/c unit should be upstairs, but discussed those 2 issues with host and feel he will take care of both issues. He was very nice and easy to communicate with. it’s really a great cabin & and definitely worth checking it out for your next stay. The cabin rate is very reasonably priced. If you want to get away for some rest, relaxation, and just chill with a good book, or get out in nature, maybe walk some trails, this cabin is the perfect place to do that. "

"It was the worst room I have ever encountered through Hotels.com. The 6.8 ratimg was absolutely off. If we could have found another place nearby we would have left. The fire detector had a plastic bag over it. There were blood stains and splatter on the floor and wall. It was listed as non-smoking room but was obviously a smoking room, with cugarett burns on counters and tub and sheets. The manager admitted it was a smoking room after I went to complain. He said it was their last room. I have pictures and a short video clip. I asked for a refund and was denied. The blood was a biohazard in itself. The covered fire deterctor was a safety hazard. I demand a refund."

"Our College track team stayed here for the Indoor National merry and this place was amazing. The team loved being able to Tage in the mountain views and walking around the quiet neighborhood. Karen was great to work with and made sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend staying here and we definitely will in the future."

"Great little getaway location! The house was just the right size and had everything we needed. The wrap around porch was wonderful, however - the temperatures being in the teens and 20’s did not allow us use of it all. We do plan on being back in either the Spring or Fall to enjoy that porch "

"Very clean. Plenty of towels, shampoos, supplies in general. Plenty of parking. Convenient to Oneonta attractions.There was some confusion about check in, check out times. When we booked the house, stated times were check in: 3:00 and check out: 11:00. Upon arrival, we were informed those times had changed to 4:00 and 10:00. Owner honored original times."
