"Very clean. Lovely staff. Everything needed. Room bit dated. Its old, yes but building crumbling. Magical grounds but quite run down. Rotten benches. Muddy. Could be prettier.Never saw Estuary up like is on website. Just mud banks.Nature eh but not the idylic setting expected. But we did have a nice time. Restaurant food average pub fayre not well done. Bar shuts 9.30pm booked to eat 8pm not a lot of time. Ditch pop music. Was valentine's night, all couples. Create atmosphere. Pricey for...

"The rooms were lovely, warm and clean. Having a dog bed and food bowls was a lovely touch. The fridge was useful and we have plenty of space. The bed was very comfy.
We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fried bread!! The staff were amazing, we wished we could have stayed longer! "

"Fabulous night away to celebrate a birthday. Would thoroughly recommend, wine tasting was fabulous. Beautiful accommodation, food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back "

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"Credit where credit is due, this has to be one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at. Superbly finished property in a really safe area.
Extremely friendly owners who couldn’t do
Enough to make our stay as good as it could possibly be.
Bottle of prosecco and Welsh cakes on arrival just added to what a was an amazing accommodation.
The hot tub was a superb place way to finish each evening in style, we will be back!

"Managed by an agent but met the owner and he was great.
Property was great. Everything had been thought of.
Couldn’t fault our stay!
Great location to get to lots of family places and of course the lovely beaches!"

"wifi wasnt working. Hot tub was smelly. Log fire chimney needs sweeping it seems to be blocked. "

"Overall we had a great stay. A few down points for us, mainly the cleanliness. There were cigarette ends scattered in the outside area, there was toothpaste scattered up the bathroom wall, hairs all in the main bed and the dining chairs were awfully stained.
Otherwise the property appears from the photos to be the whole cottage, but there is part of the property which is attached and is a separate booking (luckily not booked when we were there). Also the garden backs onto another additional...
